Description
The pH electrode is connected to the amplifier by means of a coax cable and a BNC connector. The pH sensor measures the pH value of a solution in the range between 0 and 14.
Technical specifications:
- Measurement range: 0 .. 14 pH
- Resolution: 0.005 pH
- Temperature range: 5°C .. 80°C
- Maximum measurement frequency: 100 kHz (CoachLab II+, WiLab) / 1 MHz (VinciLab 2)
- Required: One sensor cable (BTsc_1 or BTsc_1Short) and 031 pH electrode
- Warrantee: 3 years
All technical specifications of the sensor are described in the product manual, see downloads.
The pH sensor can be used for various experiments in biology, chemistry and environmental science such as:
- Measuring pH values of different acids and bases
- Acid-base titration experiments
- Monitoring pH during chemical reactions
- Investigating of water quality in streams and lakes
