Description
The sensor has three operating ranges, -5..5 nC, -25..25 nC, -100..100 nC, and a zeroing switch to discharge the input capacitor.
Technical specifications:
- Measurement ranges: ±5 nC / ±25 nC / ±100 nC
- Resolution: 0.0025 nC / 0.013 nC / 0.05 nC
- Maximum voltage: ±50 V
- Maximum measurement frequency: 100 kHz (CoachLab II+, WiLab) / 1 MHz (VinciLab 2)
- Warranty: 3 years
All technical specifications of the sensor are described in the product manual, see downloads.
The Charge sensor is developed for physics experiments in electrostatics such as:
- Measurement of charge by induction
- Measurement of charge production and distribution
- Measurement of charge on a capacitor
The Charge sensor can be directly connected to the analog BT inputs of the CMA interfaces.
Attention: The sensor cable BT – IEEE1394 needed to connect the sensor to an interface is not supplied with the sensor and has to be purchased separately (BTsc_1 or BTsc_1Short).
