Description
This high-resolution spectrometer is designed to effectively examine a spectrum (from 360 nm to 930 nm) with sufficient sensitivity, enabling a wide range of experiments. The device’s construction is robust enough to withstand rough handling by students.
The spectrometer is equipped with all the components necessary for accurate measurements, from the entry slit and grating to the detector. The optical signal enters the device via open space or a flexible optical fiber. Connecting to your experiments is very simple. The data connection is linked to the PC via a USB 2.0 interface. The device is pre-configured and ready for immediate use. Simply plug it into the computer and start your experiment!
An optical cable with an SMA (male) connector and a collimator are included with the spectrometer. A CMOS sensor with RGB color registration is used as the light detector. The spectrometer connects to the computer via a USB port. The spectrometer is powered via the USB cable, eliminating the need for an external power supply. The spectrometer is supplied in a convenient storage case.
When the CMA spectrometer is combined with the CMA Light Source, it is possible to measure absorption and luminescence (fluorescence, phosphorescence) spectra of various materials. The CMA light source (012LS) is not included and must be purchased separately.
